What is Creative Surge?
Creative Surge is an independent graphic design, illustration, creative artwork and Website design service located in Llandrindod Wells, Mid Wales. Prior to relocating to Powys Wales, Creative Surge was based in Brierley Hill in the West Midlands for many years.
Operated solely by Andrew Tranter, a Graphic Designer with over 30 years experience in the industry, the Creative Surge speciality is providing appropriate and effective graphic design solutions for a wide range of promotional material. My aim is to work closely with my clients in order to understand their products, services and target audience, this enables me to offer a no-nonsense graphic design service.

Questions, questions, questions…
I will ask quite a lot of questions, for clients that really don’t know what they want it is essential that I understand as much as possible about them and the purpose of the project. For clients that really do know what they want – I don’t have a crystal ball.
My graphic design and artwork skills are varied, covering numerous disciplines.
I can draw on my experience to ensure finished results meet the demands of the design brief. Industry standard applications are used along with my in-depth knowledge of designing for print to deliver finished artwork that is ‘press-ready’. For the client this means supplied files are suitable to pass on to a commercial printer without any issues, no extra costs incurred due to artwork that was not prepared to standards, a very important part of a professional graphic design service that is often overllooked.
For everything from a new logo design to full company branding, a flyer to a brochure design or responsive WordPress web design, I can listen carefully to your requirements and translate them into creative and effective results.
Proud to be a British business, I specialise in working with other small and medium sized businesses. My clients are based all over the UK, but especially within my local area through to the wider mid Wales region and a well established Midlands client base. I also work with international clients that appreciate the qualities that British design can offer them.
All of my website hosting and trade print suppliers are UK based and more recently I have made the move to using British made design software at the core of my design workflow.
